Gift for a first-grader — a figure with a backpack

Shorter legs so the figure looks like a child, a favourite T-shirt, a backpack on the back and a book in hand. We match the hairstyle and hair colour to a recent photo — the way the child will look at the start of the school year.

In many Polish families, a first-grader gets a "tyta" — a big paper cone full of sweets and little treats. The figure is about 4 cm tall and arrives assembled in gift packaging, so it fits inside. It's also a good gift for the "pasowanie na ucznia" — the pupil initiation ceremony that many Polish schools hold in autumn.

A figure with a carabiner clips onto a school backpack or pencil case — first-graders love carrying "themselves" around. You can order it as a figure set.

The stand shows the name, "First grade" and the year. In a dozen or so years, a graduate figure will stand next to it — and you'll have the story of their whole school journey. Ideas for the end of school — gift for a graduate.

Parents often give the first class teacher a figure with a book in hand and a thank-you from the class — see gift for a teacher. The largest frame fits up to 50 figures — the whole class with their teacher.

Once the design preview is approved, we usually ship the order the next working day, and delivery takes 1–3 working days within Poland and 2–6 working days to the EU (other countries: cost confirmed before dispatch). There are more orders at the end of August, so it's worth sending the photo by mid-month. The figures are not intended for children under 3.
