A gift for Teachers' Day — a figure from your photo

A gift for a teacher is usually chosen by the whole class, often at the last minute. The problem with typical gifts is that they're impersonal: a mug or a coffee set is no different from what the teacher got a year earlier from the parallel class.

A figure from your photo works differently. We recreate the hairstyle and hair colour, add glasses, pick clothes in a similar colour and put a book or a mug in their hand. The result is a small portrait that stays on the desk and reminds them of one particular class.

A figure from your photo is the basic format. A frame with a figure works when the gift is from the whole class: there's room next to the figure for a signature or wishes, and the frame hangs in the classroom. A stand with lettering puts a name, the school year or a short thank-you right under the figure. Printed tiles add details to the figure's hand.

The formats can be combined — the most popular choice is a figure on a stand with the name and “Thank you for …”.

Once the design preview is approved, we usually ship the figure the next business day, and delivery takes 1–3 business days within Poland and 2–6 business days to the EU (other countries: cost confirmed before dispatch). If the holiday is only a few days away, there's a paid “Express shipping” option in the cart — we then handle your order first.

Agreeing on the design takes the most time, so the sooner you send a photo, the more relaxed you'll be. We can also ship the figure straight to the person who'll hand it over.

You can order even a single figure — from the class, the parents' committee or colleagues. If you need gifts for the whole teaching staff, see corporate gifts: there are separate terms for larger orders there.

Preschool teachers are more often given a figure with a child-themed detail in hand, early-years teachers — a frame with signatures from the whole class, and at the end of the school year — a stand with the date.

The caption is the other half of the gift. Short lines that can be read from a metre away work best: a name, the class and year, "Thank you for …". Longer wishes are better placed on the frame background — there's room for them there, and the composition doesn't look overloaded.

If the gift is from the whole class, people often write the class and school year: years later, those numbers are the most precious.

The format stays the same, only the accessory in hand changes: a trophy for a coach, a guitar or violin for a music teacher, a book for a nursery teacher. You'll find the full list of what can go in the hand in the catalogue of individual parts.

We don't put logos on the figure itself, but a school or club logo can go on the frame background or on the stand.
