FAQ about Kloniko custom figures and frames

Here are answers to the questions we hear most often: how to order a figure from a photo, how design approval works, how long production and delivery take, and how payments and returns work. Ordering and the builder
How do I place an order?

There are two ways, both at the same price.

1. On your own in the online builder. Open the figure or the frame with figures and click “Create”. Choose the hairstyle, skin tone, face, clothes, legs and accessories, and for a frame also the size, background and text. The price updates instantly, so you know the final amount before checkout.

2. Send a photo and we design it for you. Pick the designer option in the builder or write to us: WhatsApp, Instagram, email support@kloniko.store or phone +48 573 458 877 (Mon–Fri 9:00–17:00, CET/CEST). Send photos of the people and a short description — our designer will pick the parts and show you the design. There is no extra charge for this.
Can you make a figure from a photo?

Yes, it’s our main format. The designer picks the hairstyle, hair and skin colour, clothes and accessories so the person is recognisable. The service is free — you only pay for the product.

Which photos work best:

  • face straight to the camera, in daylight, without heavy filters;
  • a photo that clearly shows the hairstyle and hair colour;
  • a full-length photo if you want to recreate a specific outfit;
  • a separate photo of a favourite item, pet or hobby worth adding.

The figure is brick-style, so the likeness comes from the hairstyle, skin tone, glasses, beard, clothes and accessories rather than photographic accuracy of the face.
What can I create?
  • A figure of a person from a photo or your idea, in gift packaging;
  • a keychain — the same figure with a carabiner;
  • a frame with figures — a couple, family, friends or a team on a background with text, a date or a photo;
  • a figure of a child or a baby;
  • a pet and items next to the figure: flowers, food, gadgets, hobby gear;
  • a custom building set — a set built around your idea (a house, office, car, special place) with building instructions.
Which online creators are available?

Each element is put together in its own creator. They all run in the browser, with nothing to install, and the price is recalculated as you pick the options:

How many figures fit in a frame?

It depends on the size: smaller frames comfortably fit a couple or a small family, larger ones a group of friends, and the big 40×50 cm frame up to 50 figures — a whole department. The frame builder shows how many spots the chosen size has. Need more? Write to us and we’ll make a custom-size frame.
Can I change my order after paying?

Yes. Until the order goes into production, design changes (hairstyle, clothes, text, accessories) are free — just write to us with your order number. If a change affects the price (e.g. an extra figure or a bigger frame), we’ll recalculate the total.

Cancellations are handled individually: figures are made specifically for you, so it depends on how far the order has progressed. Please write to us as early as possible.

Design and approval
Will you show me the design before production?

Yes. Before we make the figures, we send you the design for approval. Production starts only after your “yes”.

Revisions before approval are free and unlimited: you can change the hairstyle, clothing colour, an accessory, the background text and so on.
What if I don’t like the design?

Just tell us what to change: “lighter hair”, “add glasses”, “a different background”. We’ll revise the design and send it again — as many times as needed. Revisions are free; you only pay for parts that change the price (e.g. an extra figure or accessory).

On top of that there is our “Delight guarantee”: if you don’t like the design and revisions don’t help, we refund 100% before production; if the finished product has a technical defect or a mistake on our side, write to us within 14 days of receipt and we’ll fix it or make it again for free.
Why might you refuse my design?

We may refuse a design if it violates the law or the rights of third parties. We don’t accept designs containing:

  • company or brand logos or trademarks;
  • political, religious or military symbols;
  • offensive, aggressive, discriminatory or provocative content;
  • violence, self-harm or other inappropriate content;
  • images of celebrities, public figures or characters protected by third-party rights.

In that case we’ll suggest changes to the design or refund you in full before production starts.
Can you put a company logo on a figure?

Not on the figure itself: we don’t print logos or trademarks on figure parts.

A logo can go on the frame background, a branded stand or the packaging. For companies this is part of our corporate gifts.
Do you make military figures?

Unfortunately we don’t make figures in military uniform or with military symbols. We can make the person in civilian clothes, e.g. in their favourite style or with hobby items.
Can you make a celebrity or a famous character?

No. Celebrity likenesses and characters from films, games and comics are protected by third-party rights. We make figures of real people based on your photos.

Figures, frames and packaging
What parts are the figures made of?

We assemble figures from genuine LEGO® elements. For personalisation we add our own printing: face, clothes, text, frame background.

How big is a figure?

A standard figure is about 4 cm tall and 2 cm wide. The size may vary slightly depending on the hairstyle, headwear or accessories.
What frame sizes are available?

Standard sizes we always keep in stock:

  • 13×18 cm
  • 18×18 cm (square)
  • 21×30 cm
  • 25×25 cm
  • 30×40 cm
  • 40×50 cm

Colours: white or black. For custom or large orders we can make a frame of any size up to 1 metre.
What can go on the frame background?

The background can hold names, a date, a message, a photo or an image of a special place. Pets and themed items can stand next to the figures: flowers, a cake, gadgets, sports gear. You choose it all in the frame builder or agree it with the designer.
Do the figures arrive assembled?

Yes, figures arrive fully assembled in gift packaging (a blister or a box), ready to give.
Why do the figures come separately from the frame?

So the figures don’t fall out or scratch the glass in transit, we ship them not inserted. The stands are already glued to the background, so you just press each figure onto its stand like a brick — it takes a minute.
Are the stands glued or removable?

The stands are firmly glued to the frame background, and the figures simply snap onto them like bricks. So you can take a figure off, move it and put it back.
What age are the figures suitable for?

Figures contain small parts, so they are not suitable for children under 3. We can still make a figure of a baby or child from a photo — e.g. in a family frame as a keepsake for the parents.

Price and payment
How much does a figure or frame cost?

The price depends on what you choose: number of figures, frame size, hairstyle and accessories, extra printing. The current price is always shown on the product pages:

In the builder the price updates as soon as you add a part, and surcharges are shown next to each option.
How can I pay?

Payment is made online using the methods available at checkout — the full list is shown before you pay. We start processing the order once the payment is received.

Production and delivery
How long does production take?

Orders placed on working days are usually shipped the next working day after design approval. Orders from Friday, the weekend or public holidays ship on the first working day.

During peak periods (Black Friday, holidays, promotions) production may take longer, so order early if you need the gift by a specific date.
Is express production available?

Yes, a paid “Express shipping” option is available in the cart. We process your order first — today or the next working day. The price depends on the order value and is shown before payment. It speeds up production; the carrier’s delivery time stays the same.
How does delivery in Poland work and what does it cost?

We ship from near Warsaw. Delivery within Poland takes 1–3 working days:

  • InPost Paczkomat 24/7 — 12 zł, free from 149.90 zł;
  • DPD Pickup (point / locker) — 14 zł, free from 149.90 zł;
  • InPost Courier — 13 zł, from 149.91 zł — 5 zł, free above 220 zł.

Every parcel is insured for its full value. We email you the tracking number.
Do you ship abroad?

Yes. We ship to the European Union by courier; the cost depends on the country and is shown in the cart:

  • Belgium, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Portugal, Italy — 69 zł, 3–5 working days;
  • Austria, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary — 89 zł, 2–4 working days;
  • Croatia, Cyprus, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Malta, Romania, Sweden — 169 zł, 4–6 working days.

For Ukraine we agree delivery individually after you order. Other countries — 249 zł; we confirm the final cost before shipping. For shipments outside the EU, any customs duties and import taxes are paid by the recipient. Free delivery applies only within Poland.
Can you ship the gift directly to the recipient?

Yes. At checkout, enter the recipient’s details and address (or parcel locker) and mention in the note that it’s a gift. The figure arrives in gift packaging.

Returns and complaints
Can I return a personalised figure?

Under Polish consumer law (Art. 38(3) of the Consumer Rights Act), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the customer’s specification (figures from photos, frames with your composition, named products).

Still, we value our customers: we can consider returning a personalised product too — terms are agreed individually. Our “Delight guarantee” also applies (14 days from receipt).

Ready-made products sold individually (genuine LEGO® elements, tiles, stands and frames with standard designs) can be returned without giving a reason within 14 days of receipt.
What if the product arrives damaged or faulty?

Take photos or a video of the parcel and the product and write to us: WhatsApp, Instagram, email support@kloniko.store or phone +48 573 458 877 (Mon–Fri 9:00–17:00, CET/CEST), including your order number. With courier delivery, check the parcel in front of the courier and file a damage report if needed.

We are liable for defects under the 2-year statutory warranty. We review complaints within 14 days and offer a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. If the fault is ours, we cover the return shipping. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–10 working days (14 days at most).

For companies
Do you make corporate gifts and large orders?

Yes: employee figures, gifts for clients, speakers and teams, welcome kits, frames for a whole department with up to 50 figures. We place the logo on the frame background, the stand or the packaging. Formats, lead times and indicative prices are on the corporate gifts page.
Can I order a custom building set?

Yes. We design a separate set around your idea — a house, office, car, special place or a scene from your life — with building instructions. Details and price are on the custom building set page; it’s best to discuss the idea with us right away.
