Bride and groom figures for the wedding cake — from your photos

The couple stands on a stand, not in the cream: on the cake stand right by the cake, on the table beside it, or on a separate board on the top tier of the cake. It is best to agree the spot with your cake maker together with the rest of the decorations, and to order the figures in advance so that you have them in hand before the wedding. The figures contain small parts, so they are not intended for children under 3 years of age — place them out of reach of the youngest guests.

We assemble the figures from genuine LEGO® parts and add our own printing: faces, outfits, lettering. From the photos we carry over the hairstyles, hair colour, glasses and beard, match the cut and colour of the dress, a suit or a tuxedo with a bow tie, and for the hand — a flower or a glass. It is a recognisable likeness, not a portrait, which is why we show the design first. Only the person ordering sees it, so the dress can stay a secret until the wedding day.

One or two lines read well on the stand: your names and the wedding date, “Mr and Mrs Smith”, “From this day forward”, “Husband and wife” or a short “I do!”. A longer dedication is better left for the frame background.

The best man and maid of honour order the figures for the bride and groom as a surprise that the couple only discover when the cake is cut; parents — as an addition to their gift. The couple themselves choose them when planning the cake and the table decorations. We have gathered gift ideas from guests on the wedding gift page, and if you are looking for entertainment for the guests themselves, see the figure-building zone.

The cake is gone the same evening; the figures stay. In a frame they stand against a background with your names, the date and a photo of the wedding venue, and next to the couple there is room for flowers, a miniature cake or your dog. You can also simply put them on a shelf next to a wedding photo. The figures can be taken out and rearranged, so on your wedding anniversary they can stand by a cake again.

We send the design preview for approval, and once you say “yes”, we usually ship the order the next business day. Delivery takes 1–3 business days within Poland and 2–6 business days to the EU (other countries: cost confirmed before dispatch), and if the date is close, there's a paid “Express shipping” option in the cart.
